About Amy

Amy’s professional life began as a translator and copywriter for businesses, before being appointed to lead the communications for a major EU trade association and an NGO working to improve the lives of vulnerable people in the prison and healthcare systems of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Amy then spent her first decade studying and then working in the Russian Federation (from 2001 – 2012), during a period where East-West cooperation and trade were booming and the first signs of civil society and democratic protest were beginning to emerge. In recent time, Amy has led marketing and communications for some of the largest innovation projects in offshore wind, tidal, and circular economy. Creating launch, campaign, and company-wide strategies, Amy had to find the best mix of channels (virtual and real-world, from press campaigns to community events, theatre, and animations) for each project’s aims. Amy brings this wealth of experience to SWB and can look at utilising our experts in India to help you with your communications and marketing strategy.
